Double Dates

Double dates are so much fun!

We recently had a double date with our sweet friends Sara & Kyle.

We love this couple so much!

And Kyle just moved here from Michigan.. so we're all pretty excited about that.

Especially since that means double dates ALL THE TIME!

Our double date this past Sunday consisted of trying out a new coffee shop called Cafe Brunelle in Little Rock, AR. They have the most amazing Italian creme sodas! I got vanilla in mine, but was told by Sara that the mango one was also amazing. So those of you in Little Rock, definitely order one next time you're there! We then walked around the Promenade (basically an outdoor shopping mall). We swooned at everything in J. Crew and also got the cops called on us for taking pictures next to the woods? Haha! We then played Mario Party on teams.. Sara & Kyle vs. me & Joe. Not to brag but Joe and I totally kicked their butts! And we played Super Smash Bros after that and Joe definitely kicked all of our butts! Seriously.. he's way too good at that game!

All in all we had the best day with these two! They're pretty much the best friends!

My husband and I are by no means "photographers" but we LOVE to take pics. Me more so than him..  I have loved being in & taking pictures for as long as I can possibly remember. And today was no different. I had an idea pop into my head as we were sitting on the couch eating dinner and watching The Office. I asked my husband to stand in front of one of the blank walls in our house.. I turned off all of the lights in the house and used the "flashlight" on the iPhone to create lighting. This is what came of it! We had so much fun taking pics & trying things we had never tried before! Also, thanks to our friend Tim for being such a patient model while we tried all sorts of different things. And thanks to our friend Eric for helping hold the iPhones :)

Spring, Pt. 2

Spring

On Wednesday,  my husband and I got to spend a lovely day outside together.. soaking up the sun and enjoying the warm weather. It was such a beautiful day.. I'm so glad that Spring has finally arrived! Here's a little video of our day.. pics to follow :)

Good Earth Date

I'm slowly trying to turn my "black thumb" into a "green thumb" so I'm constantly looking for cute & affordable plants to put in our home. And recently, a friend of mine told me about this adorable place called Good Earth in Little Rock, AR. This place was absolutely perfect! It's huge, so they have tons of flowers, plants, succulents, pottery, etc. And not only do they have that, they also sell home decor, grills, and outdoor furniture.. I could spend hours there! But my favorite thing about the place, by far.. is the people that work there. I've only been there twice (as of now) but the employees are so helpful! They showed me exactly what plants were where and I learned everything I needed to know about how to take care of the plants I was purchasing. I was very impressed with the place and the employees!  

So yesterday I took my sweet friend Sara to this place. We walked around and picked out new plants for our homes. And we dreamed about gardens we want to one day plant. Oh and we found an orange tree... had one of us owned a house, that orange tree would've gone home with us! We had so much fun and I can't wait to go back soon.. I think my next purchase will be a snake plant!
